Hi, my name is
Joanne Wang.

Hi, my name is
I'm a MCS student at Rice University. I love to make unique and impact-driven products. My professional interests are mainly in Artificially Intelligence (AI), Computer Vision (CV) and Software Engineering. My dream is to build a product that integrates AI techiniques with software engineering techiques. This is the way to know more about me!
I have 4 year experiences in C++/C and C# languages. My C++ related projects include a 3D bouncing ball game using the OpenGL grahpics library, C++ STL library implementations, and many other projects relating to OS, such as OS algorithms implementations in C/C++ (threading, sycnchronization) and a lexical analyzer.
I have extensive research experience in the field of aritficial intelligence and computer vision, including but not limited to Dual GAN for image sysnthesis, Actor Critic Bilaterfal Filter for image denoising, Instance Segmentation, 3D bouncing ball game with OpenGL, Image Caption Generator and many others.
Over the past 3 years, I've had extensive experience with Python in the course of my research, classwork, and personal projects. Some of my personal projects in Python include my PiBot, Improved GANomaly and many more.
I have significant experience developing JAVA applications such as participating open-source projects and building extension on my own, e.g., DataRefine, and several Android applications including Friender, and NP Academy.
With a combined 2 years of experience from personal projects and work at ITRI and WNC, I often develop full-stack applications, consisting of HTML/JavaScript, jQuery/CSS, various web libraries, and backend databases, such as Oracle Databases.
I was responsible for using backend databases efficiently and creating services that allowed for easy interaction between web apps and databases in many projects from internships and class projects, including creating services with two Oracle DBs during my internships at WNC and with Google Firebase for Friender.
Here are my work experiences and education.[Resume]
